Application for membership
New Members.
Enrolments take place every Saturday from February to December, there is no training on all long weekends.
Enrolment takes time, so please allow 20 minutes prior to classes commencing to complete the paperwork. Please bring with you your dog's current vaccination certificate and council registration papers.
Classes consist of a 12-16 week course, depending on the age of your dog or any previous training the dog has received. The exception is our senior class which doesn't have a course structure. Our senior class is a mixture of training and games for more advanced dogs and handlers.
You do not need to wait until the commencement of one of our courses to join us. We will accommodate you at any stage along the programme.
What class should you be in?
We have four different levels of classes that run each week. Classes are primarily based on the age of the dog.
'Baby puppies' - 3 to 6 months of age.
'Puppies' - 6 to 12 months of age.
'Adult dogs' - all dogs over 12 months.
'Senior dogs' - which are not related to age, but rather abilities. Senior dogs are those that can be worked off lead.
When you join up you will be advised which class you will be attending.
Class Times
Adult dog and senior dog classes commence at 9:00am.
Baby puppy and puppy classes commence at 10:15am
All classes run for 45 minutes.
Please turn up for classes 10 minutes prior to commencement to allow time for your dog to settle and for you to sign the attendance book.
